Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Shawnee County, Kansas. You will work on an industrial construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Overtime paid at a premium rate.
