Refrigeration and AC mechanic wanted in Blair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Blair County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Six days a week, one day off.
