Landscape gardener — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Day to day you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
