Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coater in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a metal finishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Requirements: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process 3+ years on the tools preferred.
