Urgent requirement: we are hiring a waiter in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Upsell starters, desserts and beverages • Take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Clear and reset tables between covers Requirements: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Willingness to work weekends, evenings and split shifts Six days a week, one day off.
