Tile mason wanted in Maricopa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Maricopa County, Arizona. The job is on a residential construction site. On a typical shift you will make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
