Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Wyandotte County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
