Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Blaine County, Idaho. The job is at a stone quarry. On a typical shift you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; check for underground cables and services before digging; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Part-time with flexible hours.
