Vacancy available: brick and block layer (Jigawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Kaugama, Jigawa State. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) The role involves setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel.
