Great opportunity: stainless steel welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Matagorda County, Texas. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On the job you will handle: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Rotating shifts.
