Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Washington County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
