Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Gibson County, Tennessee. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
