On a typical shift you will replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; recharge and service the air-conditioning system; road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters. You should have: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance Rotating shifts.
