Great opportunity: crawler crane operator (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Chemung County, New York. The role involves fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits.
