Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Fayette County, Alabama. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 4+ years on the tools preferred.
