You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Day to day you will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application.
