Gas metal arc welder — Greenwood County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Greenwood County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Full-time, day shift.
