Gas commissioning technician • New Kent County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in New Kent County, Virginia. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
