We are recruiting: MIG/MAG welder (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Arenac County, Michigan. You will work at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $8,750 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
