Now hiring: we are hiring a housekeeper in DeKalb County, Alabama. You will be based at a beach resort. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with the colour-coded cleaning system • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines Day-to-day duties: • Carry out turndown service in the evening • Dust and polish furniture, mirrors and glass with the right chemicals • Spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points • Report maintenance faults — leaking taps, blown bulbs, faulty AC — to engineering • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Log lost-and-found items and hand them to the supervisor Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
