Kitchen porter wanted in Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Madison County, New York. You will work in a catering unit. You will keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates 5+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
