Argon welding operator • Crockett County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Crockett County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
