Immediate opening: lift mechanic (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Tazewell County, Virginia. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
