Join our team: we are hiring a steam press operator in Akoko South East, Ondo State. The job is at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
