Brick and block layer wanted in Putnam County

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Putnam County, Illinois. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
