Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Hale County, Alabama. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints.
