Vacancy available: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Floyd County, Virginia. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
