Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Stephenson County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Rotating shifts.
