Lift mechanic wanted in Covington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Covington County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights 1+ years on the tools preferred.
