Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time, day shift.
