Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Copiah County, Mississippi. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection The role involves: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
