Reinforcement steel fixer • Chippewa County, Wisconsin

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Chippewa County, Wisconsin. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
