Immediate opening: CO2 welder (Mississippi)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Walthall County, Mississippi. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Six days a week, one day off.
