Captain waiter • Chatham County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a captain waiter in Chatham County, North Carolina. You will be based at a beach resort. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages • Basic food hygiene and FSSAI awareness The role involves carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; greet guests, seat them and present the menu; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
