Scaffolding supervisor wanted in Chemung County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Chemung County, New York. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold The role involves: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
