Vacancy available: we are hiring a tiler in Johnson County, Indiana. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Day to day you will cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
