Thermal insulation technician wanted in Linn County

Now hiring: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Linn County, Iowa. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Willing to travel between sites On the job you will handle: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
