Foundry labourer wanted in Akure North

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Akure North, Ondo State. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
