Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in City of Alexandria, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg You will load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
