We are recruiting: ironing operator (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. You will be based in a garment export house. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
