Great opportunity: reinforcement fitter (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Queens County, New York. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
