Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
