Argon arc welder wanted in Wiltshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Wiltshire, England. On a typical shift you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
