Urgent requirement: paint and prep technician (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. The role involves wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Full-time, day shift.
