Join our team: we are hiring a lathe operator in City of York, England. You will work on a production line. Requirements: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Your main tasks: • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Full-time, day shift.
