Vacancy available: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Kent County, Michigan. You will be based in a collision repair centre. Day to day you will buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) 1+ years on the tools preferred.
