Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Denver County, Colorado. You will be based on a high-rise building site. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
