Vacancy available: cnc lathe setter (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Harrison County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes What we are looking for: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
