Garment machinist • Appling County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Appling County, Georgia. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Full-time, day shift.
