Urgent requirement: metal caster (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Cocke County, Tennessee. The job is on the moulding line. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
